Remembering 2002

It is always good to look back at the past to see how styles have evolved.

I created this cake for M & J in 2002.

It was the first time I had worked with chocolate on a wedding cake.

How many have I done since then??

I still love doing them !

Vintage mini cup cakes in hues to match the georgous roses and lace.

The bride provided this fabulous crystal footed cake plate for her

sparkly, soft pink creation

"Happy" was the theme for this wedding. The tables were adorned with white, bright yellows and oranges....it made me smile !!

Classic white is always beautiful....it perfectly suited the

personality of this lovely bride.

My first time

After much nagging from SJ and my nieces, I have started my first blog (I hope the terminology is correct). As I am new to it, I shall keep the commentary short.

It has been a big year of cakes and I am looking forward to the break over December and January.....here are a few of my recent favourites....
